Getting involved in school life at Highcliffe

We warmly welcome you to become involved in school life at Highcliffe as one of our wonderful volunteers.

At Highcliffe Primary School we highly value the contributions made by our terrific volunteers. These include parents, grandparents, family members and those that live within the school locality. The support we get from volunteers enables us to offer greater to support to our children. The children absolutely love having our volunteers in each week and we can guarantee you will leave feeling very smiley!

All volunteers are made to feel part of the school team and you will be welcomed by all staff. We are so incredibly grateful for any amount of time you may be able to offer the school; this may be in the form of regular weekly support (this can be as little as one hour a week or as much as the whole five days!) or 'as and when' support for example, helping us with school trips (key dates are shared at the start of the year and through our termly newsletters).

Volunteers are fully DBS checked and receive a full induction with the Headteacher prior to starting in the classroom.

If you feel this may be something that is of interest to you and you would like to find out more, please do not hesitate to contact our office team on 0116 296 7600 or [email protected]. Alternatively, please feel free to speak to Miss Williamson (Year 6 Teacher & KS2 Phase Leader) who co-ordinates our volunteers.

We look forward to hearing from you!
