Eco-Committee

At present, we have six Eco- Warriors at Highcliffe Primary School, who have been democratically elected to represent the school in its pledge to become more environmentally friendly.

The Eco-Warriors meet regularly with Mrs. Wilby to discuss school priorities and they play a pivotal role in coming up with fresh and exciting ideas to tackle current issues. For example, the children have put together Power Points to share with the whole school, highlighting the importance of recycling and how each and every one of us can make a difference. They have even come up with their own reward system to encourage classes to be more mindful of their actions. The whole school also took part in Global Recycling Day and The Eco- Warriors helped with promoting and the running of the day.
