Highcliffe Year 6… …you’re hired!

This term, the Year 6 children at Highcliffe Primary School have been channelling their inner-Sir Alan Sugar.

To raise funds for their end-of-term leavers treat, the children planned, organised and then hosted their very own fundraiser.

They brought in unwanted toys, books and games and also created a range of homemade items which they sold parents and other children. Some sold drawings and bookmark, others baked tasty treats, whilst a number of children even created their own jewellery.

Other children hosted games stalls, there was a ‘nail bar’ where participants could get their nails painted, whilst the pupils also sold sweets and biscuits.

The final total stood at £450!

With the raised funds, the Year 6s had a fantastic last couple of days at primary school. They whizzed around on the obstacle course and danced to their heart’s content in the disco dome. Then, when they were able to pause for a moment, they feasted on pizza and ice-cream.

A huge congratulations to the Year 6 children, who thoroughly earned their leavers treat.
