Welcome to Year 1. Here you can find information about the Curriculum being taught to your child whilst in Year 1 at Highcliffe Primary School.
Our aim is to ensure that each child develops a lifelong love for learning where everyone is encouraged to develop, grow and reach their potential whatever his or her ability.  The Year 1 Curriculum has been developed to ensure that it is progressive, follows a sequence of lessons which builds on prior knowledge and is committed to knowing more and remembering more.
